Events as a product
Sell workshops and event access through Digital Products—direct email vs portal—and how that complements Events Manager on ArtInStack.
Create and manage the event in Events Manager—dates, capacity, and the public registration page. Add a digital product when you want the ticket on your main shop, a workshop package with portal replays, or checkout that matches your other digital offers.
Event setup: Events overview. Registration on the event itself (free RSVP or paid ticket on the event page) is covered in Manage event sessions and registration.
Two ways to sell tickets
| Path | Best for |
|---|---|
| Events Manager — registration on the event | Public event page, sessions, attendee list in Events Manager |
| Digital Products — Event Access or Workshop | Storefront checkout, bundles, or client portal after the session |
Flow
[Events Manager: create + publish event]
|
+--> RSVP or paid registration on the event page
|
+--> Digital Products → Event Access or Workshop
|
+--> Email Delivery → confirmation + registration email
|
+--> Portal Access → event + materials in client portal
You can use both paths: publish the event first, then add a digital product when you also want storefront checkout or portal materials.

Digital product templates and delivery
Connect payments with Stripe for paid products
Sell through a digital product
- Publish the event in Events Manager with the right schedule, capacity, and timezone.
- Choose what buyers get after they pay:
- Email Delivery — confirmation email and registration (simple paid ticket).
- Portal Access (Client Portal) — sign-in with event schedule plus replays, downloads, or messages (typical for workshops).
- Go to Products → Digital Products → Create from Template → Event Access or Workshop.
- Connect the product to your event and any extra portal sections you offer.
- Set price, publish the product, and link it from Pages or your marketing.
- Complete a test purchase and check the confirmation email and/or client portal.
What you'll see
Email Delivery customers get registration confirmation by email. Portal Access customers use the same client portal as course students to see the event and materials. Your attendee list in Events Manager stays the source for who registered for that event.
Verifying your setup
- The event is published before you connect the product.
- Delivery choice matches what you promised buyers (email ticket vs portal program).
- A test purchase registers the buyer and opens the right email or portal experience.
