Commerce Overview

ArtInStack commerce connects Stripe to Digital Products, Product Catalog, portfolio print ordering, and donations—buyers checkout on your public site and orders land in Products after Connect Stripe is complete under Settings → E-commerce.

Capability overview

ArtInStack connects your storefront to Stripe: Digital Products (file email delivery and client portal access via templates), self-fulfilled prints, print-on-demand, and donations each have a home under Products. Template and delivery reference: Digital product templates and delivery.

Courses and events: build them in Portal Manager and Events Manager; add a listing under Digital Products when you sell on your storefront—Courses as a product, Events as a product. Prints from photos: set up your print catalogue and turn on Enable Print Options per portfolio—Print on Demand.

Fundraising campaigns (goals, story, progress) live under Settings → Campaigns and connect to donation products and page blocks—see Donations and fundraising campaigns. Orders return to the dashboard so you can fulfill and support buyers from one place.

Prerequisites

Dashboard → Products (Product Catalog, Digital Products, Donations tabs)

Payments: Dashboard → Settings → E-commerce

Plan limits: Dashboard → Settings → Subscription

Implementation steps

  1. Open Products and scan Product Catalog, Digital Products, and Donations.
  2. Open Settings → E-commerce and note whether Stripe shows connected.
  3. Review Settings → Subscription for commerce-related limits.
  4. Map your offers (presets, prints, sessions) to product types.
  5. Decide whether you need print-on-demand or self-shipped inventory.
  6. Open Dashboard analytics overview when you need traffic, newsletter, affiliate, or ad metrics.

What you'll see

Clear tabs for each product family and a single Stripe connection point. Gated commerce features show upgrade guidance instead of failing silently.

Before you sell live

Commerce requires an eligible plan and completed Stripe onboarding. Finish connect-payments-with-stripe before you announce a shop link.

Donations and tax

Donation products may follow different tax treatment than goods—confirm reporting with your accountant. For campaign goals, recurring gifts, and Stripe Connect requirements, see Donations and fundraising campaigns.

Verifying your setup

  • You explored all Products tabs.
  • Stripe status is noted under E-commerce.
  • Each offer type is mapped to digital, print, or donation.
