Manage Event Sessions and Registration

Add sessions with dates, capacity limits, and registration mode under each event—buyers pick a session at checkout when required; track signups in Events Manager and reconcile paid registrations with Digital Products fulfillment.

Multi-day workshops and recurring classes use session rows—each with its own time and cap. Registration mode controls free RSVP, waitlist when sold out, or paid checkout through Stripe. Configure sessions before you promote the event so capacity matches your venue or video host limits.

Prerequisites

Dashboard → Events Manager → select event → Sessions / Registration

What you're looking at

Sessions tab: add session, start/end, per-session capacity, internal speaker notes.
Registration: RSVP fields, ticket price, waitlist toggle, confirmation messaging.

Implementation steps

  1. Open your draft or published event and go to Sessions.
  2. Add session rows for each day or time block in a multi-part workshop.
  3. Set per-session capacity aligned with venue seating or video host limits.
  4. Under registration, choose free RSVP or enter a paid ticket price.
  5. Enable waitlist when registration can continue after capacity is full (if supported).
  6. Submit a test registration with a personal email and confirm confirmation email or receipt.
  7. Before event day, export the attendee list from Events Manager.
  8. Send a reminder with date, timezone, and join link—especially if the virtual URL changed.

What you'll see

Sessions display the correct schedule; registrations stop at capacity unless waitlist is enabled. Paid registrants complete Stripe checkout; free RSVPs capture the fields you configured.

Verifying your setup

  • Sessions have times, timezones, and capacity set.
  • Registration tested for your chosen mode (free or paid).
  • Attendee export succeeds before the event date.
