First 30 minutes checklist
A guided first-session checklist to go live on ArtInStack.
Use this sequence once per new workspace: confirm your account, set site identity, edit the homepage, upload first media, and publish. Skipping publish is fine if you only need internal setup, but you cannot share a working link until at least one page is published.
Prerequisites
Suggested path for your first session:
Dashboard → Settings → General
Dashboard → Pages → Edit (home page)
Dashboard → Media
Dashboard → Pages → editor Publish toggle
Implementation steps
- Confirm you are signed in at
app.artinstack.comand save Settings → General subdomain and site name. - Open Pages, click Edit on the home page, and skim the Page Editor tab.
- Change one hero or text block so the page reflects your name or studio; click Save Page.
- When you are ready for visitors, toggle Publish in the toolbar and confirm status on the Page Settings tab.
- Open Media and drag 3–5 images onto the dropzone labeled "Drag and drop media/images/videos here".
- Open your public URL at
https://yoursub.artinstack.comin a private browser window and confirm the homepage loads. - Optional: open Portfolio, click New Portfolio, and add two images from Media to practice gallery setup.
What you'll see
Within 30 minutes you have a saved homepage, at least one published page or a draft you understand, uploaded media in your library, and a verified public URL — or a short list of blockers you can fix next.
If the live site does not match the editor
Check whether the page is still Draft versus Publish, hard refresh the browser, and look for maintenance mode under Settings → Privacy & security. Cached pages sometimes show old content for a minute after first publish.
If uploads fail during this session
Open Settings → Subscription and confirm you have storage headroom. Retry with fewer files if your connection is slow.
Verifying your setup
- Subdomain configured under Settings → General.
- Homepage edited and saved.
- At least one media upload succeeded via the Media dropzone.
- You opened the live site URL or documented what blocked it.
