Plans and limits
Your ArtInStack plan sets storage quota, which sidebar modules appear, and what Included Features lists under Settings → Subscription—missing menu items usually mean the feature is on a higher tier, not a broken account; compare tiers on the marketing pricing page before a big upload session.
Your plan controls how much you can store, which parts of the dashboard you see, and which advanced features you can use (custom domain, print sales, teams, client portal, events, and more). Checking this early helps you avoid failed uploads and confusion about missing menu items.

What your plan controls
- Storage — how many gigabytes are included, plus any storage add-ons you purchase
- Features — what is included on your tier (shown under Included Features on the subscription screen)
- Dashboard menu — which left-sidebar items appear for you
Billing and plan details live under Settings → Subscription, not under sidebar General (that is only your personal login profile).
Sidebar and features
What you see in the menu depends on your plan and, if you were invited as a team member, your role.
Items your plan does not include are hidden from the sidebar — you will not see grayed-out links for them.
Some areas inside Settings (for example certain Integrations tabs) may still show an upgrade message if your plan does not include that feature.
Typical plan differences (check Included Features for your account):
- Events Manager — on plans that include events
- Projects — on plans that include team collaboration
- Portal Manager — on plans that include client delivery; full client portal access is on Creator- and Master-class plans
- Pages, Posts, Portfolio, Media, Products — on most studio plans; Starter is more limited
Your Included Features list under Subscription is the checklist for your workspace.
Storage limits
When you reach your storage limit (plan allowance plus any active add-ons), new uploads stop in Media. Your live site and existing files stay online — visitors can still view published content. You need more storage or a plan upgrade to add new files.
Where to check usage: Settings → Subscription (allowance), Storage (detail), Media (day-to-day uploads).
Some plans offer optional pay-as-you-go storage. If uploads fail with a billing-related message, open Storage or Subscription for next steps.
Subscription screen
Open Settings → Subscription.
Billing — plan name, price, renewal date, storage included, Included Features, active add-ons, upgrade options, Manage Payment (Stripe billing when connected).
Billing History — past invoices and PDFs when available.
What to do now
- Open Settings → Subscription → Billing.
- Note your plan, storage allowance, and Included Features.
- Compare the left sidebar with https://www.artinstack.com/pricing if needed.
- If you are close to full, review add-ons or upgrade; open Storage for exact usage.
- Upload one small test file in Media to confirm you still have room.
- Use Manage Payment to open billing when you need invoices or card updates.
If menu items are missing
Your plan: The feature may not be on your tier — use Included Features and the pricing page.
You are a team member: An author usually sees Posts, Media, and General only. Someone on a single project may only see Projects and General. Ask the workspace owner under Settings → Teams.
Invoice name does not match what you see: Trust Included Features on the dashboard. If it still looks wrong, contact support via https://www.artinstack.com/contact.
Before a big upload session
- You know your plan and how much storage is left.
- You understand why a sidebar item might be missing.
- You know where to upgrade and open billing (Settings → Subscription).
