Blog Overview

How blogging works inside your website on ArtInStack.

Blogging on ArtInStack separates articles from site pages: you write in Posts, list them on a Blog Page under Pages, and tune defaults under Settings. A clear split helps you publish often without rebuilding your homepage every time.

Prerequisites

Dashboard → Posts

Blog listing page: Dashboard → Pages (Blog Page type)

Defaults: Dashboard → SettingsBlog Post and Categories

Implementation steps

  1. Open Posts and scan any existing articles.
  2. Open Pages and confirm you have a published Blog Page for the index.
  3. Open SettingsBlog Post for how single articles look on your live site—see Blog post settings and layout.
  4. Open SettingsCategories to see how posts will be grouped.
  5. Decide a realistic cadence (session recaps, lighting tips, local SEO articles).
  6. Note that team members with the author role can write Posts without full Settings access.
  7. Add the Blog Page to SettingsNavigation when you are ready for visitors to browse.
  8. To grow an email list from blog traffic, see Newsletter subscriptions (sidebar widget is configured in Blog Post settings).

What you'll see

Posts holds drafts and published articles. The public blog index pulls published posts into cards with featured images when you configure them.

Without a Blog Page in navigation

Posts can exist at direct URLs while remaining hard to discover. Publish the Blog Page and link it from your main menu before you announce the blog.

Comments on posts

Enable comments per post under Edit PostComments when you want discussion; leave them off for announcement-only posts.

Verifying your setup

  • You understand how Posts, Pages, and Navigation work together.
  • SettingsBlog Post and Categories are located; you know where global post layout lives (Blog post settings and layout).
  • You have a simple publishing plan for the next month.
