Set up your workspace

Configure site name, subdomain, and core defaults in ArtInStack.

Your workspace is the container for one public site, all your media, and client tools. Set how visitors reach you and how your brand appears before you publish pages — otherwise every preview and share link will feel unfinished.

Prerequisites

Dashboard → SettingsGeneral tab

Optional branding: Dashboard → SettingsTheme

What you're looking at

Settings left tabs include General, Theme, Site layout, Header & Footer, Navigation, Categories, Blog Post, Integrations, Campaigns, E-commerce, Teams, Privacy & security, and Subscription.

General tab: Site URL with Subdomain, and Site Information with Site name and custom domain fields when your plan includes them.

Implementation steps

  1. Open Settings from the sidebar.
  2. Select the General tab.
  3. Under Site URL, enter your Subdomain — your public address becomes yourname.artinstack.com.
  4. Under Site Information, enter Site name for browser tabs, search results, and client-facing branding.
  5. Click Save Changes at the top of Settings when prompted.
  6. Optional: open the Theme tab and pick a preset or adjust colors so previews match your brand.
  7. Open Pages and confirm your site address appears correctly in editor previews.

What you'll see

Your subdomain saves without validation errors. Site name appears in dashboard previews and public metadata. Theme changes apply to new page renders after you save.

If your subdomain is unavailable

Subdomains cannot include spaces or unsupported characters. If the name you want is already taken, choose a variation — your studio initials, city, or specialty work well. Custom domains require a plan that includes them; after entering the domain under General, configure DNS at your registrar and allow time for SSL to activate.

Verifying your setup

  • Subdomain and site name are saved.
  • You know your public URL pattern at yourname.artinstack.com.
  • Optional theme preset applied under SettingsTheme.
