Create and Publish an Event
Create events and publish them for registrations on ArtInStack.
An event is your public registration page: title, schedule, location or virtual link, and capacity. Publish only when details are final enough for attendees to rely on—especially the meeting URL and timezone. Link the event from Pages or Navigation so visitors can find it without the direct URL.
Prerequisites
Dashboard → Events Manager → Create event (or equivalent)
What you're looking at
Event form: title, description, cover image, date and time with timezone, location or virtual URL, capacity, Draft / Publish toggle.
Media picker: cover image from your Media library.
Implementation steps
- Open Events Manager and start a new event.
- Enter a title and description that state who the event is for and what they will learn or do.
- Set date, start time, end time, and timezone—double-check against your audience's zone.
- Choose in-person address or paste a stable virtual meeting URL.
- Set capacity when seats are limited (venue or Zoom participant cap).
- Add a cover image from Media.
- Save as draft, open the public preview, and proofread schedule and links.
- Toggle Publish when ready; optionally add the event to Navigation or a Pages block.
What you'll see
The published event accepts registrations at its public URL. Draft events stay hidden from registration while you finish copy and logistics.
Verifying your setup
- Event exists with schedule, location or virtual URL, and cover image.
- Event is published—or draft with a clear publish checklist completed.
- Public event page loads without errors.
