Newsletter analytics

Open Analytics → Newsletter to see subscriber totals, source (Blog or Footer), and status, and to export a CSV of the list. Sending is Email Center, not the export.

For where this list sits alongside site traffic, affiliates, and ad embeds, see Dashboard analytics overview.

Analytics → Newsletter is the subscriber list from your blog sidebar and footer forms (see Newsletter subscriptions). You can download a CSV of the current filter. Campaigns are sent from Email Center, not from that file.

Prerequisites

Dashboard → Analytics → Newsletter

Signup forms enabled: Settings → Blog Post (sidebar widget) and/or Settings → Site layout or Header & Footer (footer form)—see Newsletter subscriptions

Core architecture & fields

Analytics → Newsletter: subscriber totals, search, status filters (subscribed, unsubscribed, all), source column (Footer vs Blog).

Export: CSV download for the current status filter. The file is a copy of the list. It does not send a campaign.

Implementation steps

  1. Confirm a blog sidebar and/or footer signup form is live on your public site.
  2. Open Analytics → Newsletter.
  3. Review total subscribers and the source column (Footer vs Blog).
  4. Filter to Subscribed when you want only people still on the list.
  5. Download CSV only when you need the list outside the dashboard.
  6. Confirm your signup copy states what subscribers receive.

What you'll see

Counts update after form submissions (often within a few minutes). A CSV matches the status filter you applied.

Handling personal data

CSV files contain emails. Store them securely, and do not add back an address that unsubscribed.

Verifying your setup

  • Subscriber metrics are visible under Analytics → Newsletter.
  • You can tell subscribed from unsubscribed, and Blog from Footer.
  • Signup forms are live on the public site (see Newsletter subscriptions).
