Documentation/Team and Collaboration

Team and collaboration overview

Team and collaboration is for staff on plans with Teams enabled—invite teammates under Settings → Teams, review shoot files in Projects (pins, approvals, project share links), and run blog editorial review; full client portal accounts stay under Portal Manager.

Capability overview

Team and collaboration is for your staff—editors, assistants, second shooters. A Teams-enabled plan unlocks Settings → Teams, the Projects workspace, and editorial tools such as inline comments on blog posts in review.

Client delivery (portal invitations, proofing submissions, client sign-in) is a different module—the Education / client portal path. Teammates use the dashboard; portal clients use the client portal. See Client delivery overview.

Projects can also send a project share link (/p/{token}) so an agency or client opens a finals vault without a portal login. That link is not Portal Manager and is not a staff seat—details live on Projects workspace and image comments.

Plans may include one or both. Do not confuse Projects (production workspace + optional share link) with Portal Manager (signed-in client portal).

If Projects or Teams settings are missing

Upgrade to a plan with Teams enabled on Settings → Subscription. Portal Manager alone does not unlock Projects—that is the Education/client portal module.

Verifying your setup

  • You can explain staff dashboard access vs client portal accounts vs a project share link.
  • Teams or Projects appears when your plan includes collaboration.
  • You know where blog editorial review lives (Posts editor).
