Invite a Teammate

Confirm team seats on Subscription, then Settings → Teams → Invite member—enter email and role so the teammate gets their own login scoped to that role; revoke access later without sharing your password.

Team plans let assistants, editors, and second shooters work in your workspace with their own login—scoped to what their role allows. Inviting is safer than sharing your password: you can remove access later and audit who changed what. Send invites from Settings → Teams after confirming team seats on Subscription.

Prerequisites

Dashboard → Settings → Teams → Invite (or Invite member)

What you're looking at

Teams tab: active members, pending invitations, role dropdown per member.
Invite form: email address and role selector (owner, admin, author, etc.).

Implementation steps

  1. Open Settings → Subscription and confirm your plan includes team seats.
  2. Go to Settings → Teams.
  3. Click Invite or Invite member.
  4. Enter the teammate's email address—verify spelling before sending.
  5. Select a role matching their job (see Roles and Permissions for scope).
  6. Send the invitation.
  7. Ask them to accept via the email link and sign in.
  8. After acceptance, confirm their sidebar shows expected areas (e.g. Posts and Media for an author).

What you'll see

The invite appears as pending on Teams until accepted. After acceptance, the member lists with their role and can sign in without using your credentials.

Verifying your setup

  • Invitation sent from Teams and visible as pending or accepted.
  • Teammate appears in the member list after accepting.
  • Their sidebar matches the assigned role.
