Fundraising campaigns for conservation

Set up donation products and fundraising campaigns, then connect them to your conservation pages and Impact Map so supporters can give beside a clear story of field impact.

Your public site can show the work and accept gifts in the same visit. ArtInStack uses donation products (how money is collected) and optional fundraising campaigns (goal, story, and progress). Conservation teams usually place those beside an Impact Map or program gallery—with map privacy still respected.

Step-by-step commerce detail also lives in Donations and fundraising campaigns; this page focuses on how fundraising fits a field program.

Prerequisites

  • Stripe Connect with payouts enabled (Connect payments with Stripe)
  • Donation / campaign features on your plan
  • A public portfolio and page for the program (recommended)

How the pieces connect

  1. Create a donation product under Products → Donations.
  2. Optionally create a campaign under Settings → Campaigns with a goal and story, and link the donation product.
  3. On your program page, add donation or campaign blocks—and/or an Impact Map with a donate call to action.

Patterns that work well

ApproachTypical page
Program landingStory, redacted Impact Map, campaign progress, donate
Species spotlightGallery or photo pages with observations on, plus a donate block
Print fundraiserConservation print offer tied to the campaign at checkout
Match challengeCampaign goal on a time-bound landing page; keep map pins redacted

After someone gives

When a paid gift includes your campaign, ArtInStack creates an Impact Record. Open Settings → Campaigns → Impact to confirm or split allocation toward surveys, and share the private donor Impact page from the receipt email. Full detail: Impact Records.

Privacy while fundraising

Donors respond to maps; adversaries respond to precision. Prefer Public (redacted) portfolios on fundraising pages. Do not switch to exact GPS to make the map “look more real.” Enable public observations only when species disclosure is intentional.

Steps

  1. Finish Stripe Connect until payouts are enabled.
  2. Create the donation product (one-time and/or recurring as your plan allows).
  3. Create the campaign; link the donation product.
  4. Wire the campaign into your Impact Map or donation blocks.
  5. Run a test donation; confirm it appears as expected.
  6. Publish and try the donate path on a phone.

Verifying your setup

  • A test gift reaches your connected Stripe account.
  • Campaign progress updates.
  • The Impact Map donate control opens the right flow.
  • The live fundraising page still uses redacted or hidden map pins.
