Manage Profile and Password

Update account profile and password securely on ArtInStack.

Personal account details live under General in the sidebar—not site Settings. Updating your display name or password here does not change your subdomain, billing plan, or site theme. Keep contact email accurate so receipts, invites, and password resets reach you.

Prerequisites

Dashboard → General (profile)

Password: General → security section, or Settings → Privacy & security → Change password

What you're looking at

General page: display name, email (may require verification to change), password change form, avatar when supported.

Implementation steps

  1. Click General in the sidebar—distinct from Settings.
  2. Update display name and contact email if the fields are editable.
  3. Open the password change section (or Settings → Privacy & security).
  4. Enter current password and a new strong password twice.
  5. Save profile changes.
  6. Sign out and sign back in with the new password to verify.
  7. Update your password manager entry.

What you'll see

Profile shows your updated name; the new password works on the next sign-in. Email changes may stay pending until you confirm via inbox link.

Verifying your setup

  • Profile fields updated and saved.
  • Password changed and verified via re-login.
  • You distinguish General (account) from Settings (site and billing).
