Invite Clients to Portal
Portal Manager → Invitations → Invite Client sends an email with an access code—choose access type and linked gallery, course, or resource so the client signs in at /verify and sees only what you assigned, including proofing selection limits when set.
Send a Portal Manager invitation when a client needs a persistent, scoped sign-in—gallery proofing, resource downloads, course access, or release signatures. Each invitation carries an access type and linked resource so the client only sees what you assign.
This is client-facing delivery. Internal staff review on shoot files happens in Projects (Projects workspace and image comments)—not in this flow.

What you're looking at
Invite Client form: client email, display name, optional message, access type (gallery, video library, course, resources, etc.), linked resource, optional selection limits for proofing.
Implementation steps
- Open Portal Manager → Invitations.
- Click Invite Client.
- Enter the client email and the name shown in their portal.
- Choose the access type matching what you are sharing (for example a proof gallery or course enrollment).
- Select the linked portfolio, course, or resource.
- Set max selections when the client must pick favorites from a gallery.
- Send the invitation and confirm it appears as pending.
- Ask the client to enter the access code at /verify and sign in; verify they see only the assigned content.
What you'll see
Pending and accepted invitations on Invitations. When the client verifies the code, the platform grants access matching the access type and resource you selected. After sign-in, the client portal merges Portal Settings widgets with that assigned content.
Verifying your setup
- Invitation sent with correct access type and resource.
- Client confirmed access or you logged a follow-up issue.
