Review Client Submissions

When clients submit gallery favorites or album picks, open Portal Manager → Client Submissions to review selections, export lists, and confirm receipt before retouching, album design, or print fulfillment.

When clients pick favorites or album images, their choices land in Portal Manager → Client Submissions. Reviewing them promptly keeps retouching, design, and print timelines on track.

Prerequisites

Dashboard → Portal Manager → Client Submissions

What you're looking at

Submissions list: client name, project, submission date, number of selected images.

Detail view: selected thumbnails, comments, export actions.

Implementation steps

  1. Open Portal Manager and select Client Submissions.
  2. Sort or filter by project or date to find the newest entry.
  3. Open the submission you are fulfilling now.
  4. Compare selections against the full gallery to catch duplicates or gaps.
  5. Export a list or CSV if your studio workflow uses one.
  6. Mark the submission reviewed or approved in your internal process.
  7. Email the client confirming receipt and your next milestone (retouching, album design, etc.).

What you'll see

A definitive list of client-chosen images with timestamps. Export files feed Lightroom, album software, or production spreadsheets.

When the submission is empty

The client may not have pressed submit. Send a reminder from Invitations and restate the deadline.

When clients change picks after deadline

Communicate a firm cutoff in writing. Lock or archive the submission in your studio process once you start production.

Verifying your setup

  • You reviewed at least one submission in Client Submissions.
  • Exports or internal approval are recorded.
  • The client received confirmation of next steps.
