Site theme and branding
Customize colors, typography, and site appearance on ArtInStack.
Theme controls global colors, fonts, and spacing applied across your site. Adjust branding under Settings → Theme and complementary layout options under Site layout. Consistent branding makes your site feel intentional to clients and visitors — mismatched fonts between the homepage and blog index undermine trust faster than a typo in your bio.
Prerequisites
Dashboard → Settings → Theme
Related: Dashboard → Settings → Site layout, General (site name)
What you're looking at
Theme tab: color palette, typography presets, button styles, and accent options.
Site layout tab: page width, section spacing, and layout presets where your theme offers them.
Implementation steps
- Open Settings and select the Theme tab.
- Choose a preset close to your brand or set primary and secondary colors manually.
- Select heading and body fonts from available options.
- Save theme changes.
- Open Site layout and pick a layout preset if one fits your portfolio style.
- Open Pages → Edit your homepage and preview with Desktop and Mobile.
- Adjust theme colors until contrast and readability look correct on both light and dark image backgrounds.
- Publish key pages if they were draft while you tested the new look.
What you'll see
Public pages reflect your chosen colors and fonts. Branding feels consistent between homepage, interior pages, and blog index.
If text is hard to read on colored sections
Extreme custom colors may fail accessibility contrast — check body text on colored backgrounds. Some blocks override theme colors locally in block settings, so a single section may need a manual adjustment even after you save the global theme.
Verifying your setup
- Theme colors and fonts saved under Settings → Theme.
- Homepage preview matches your brand direction on desktop and mobile.
- Site name set under Settings → General.
