Add and manage pages
Create pages and keep your site structure organized on ArtInStack.
Beyond the homepage, add About, Contact, Services, or Blog index pages from Pages. Each page has a slug, publish status, and an optional Site home flag. Only one page can be site home at a time — that is the page visitors see at yourname.artinstack.com with no extra path.
Prerequisites
Create: Dashboard → Pages → Add New Page
Manage: Dashboard → Pages (list with Edit, status, Site home)
What you're looking at
Pages list: page title, slug, status (draft or published), Site home toggle, and Edit action.
Add New Page dialog: page type, title, and auto-generated slug preview.
Implementation steps
- Go to Pages in the sidebar.
- Click Add New Page.
- Choose a page type — Regular Page, Blog Page, Portfolio Page, or another type your theme supports.
- Enter a Page Title and review the auto-generated slug.
- Click Create Page, then Edit to open the editor.
- Build content on the Page Editor tab; adjust slug or visibility on Page Settings if needed.
- Toggle Publish when ready and click Save Page.
- Return to Pages to confirm status and rename or reorganize as your site grows.
What you'll see
New pages appear in the Pages list with the correct slug and publish status. You can edit, publish, or designate Site home from the list without reopening every page.
Reserved slugs to avoid
Do not use /login, /admin, /dashboard, or /api — these paths are reserved by the platform. Turning Site home on for a new page automatically turns it off for the previous home page.
Verifying your setup
- At least one non-home page exists, or you know how to create one.
- Page slug and title are set intentionally.
- Publish status matches your intent — draft for work in progress, published when ready to share.
