For conservation & nonprofit teams

Share your conservation story and fund your fieldwork from one site

Turn field photos into species records and a public story, with you in control of what is shown. Then raise funds and run field days from the same place.

Conservation & nonprofit

Field photos, species records, your public story, and fundraising on one site, with you in control of what is public.

Field programs often keep the science in a classification tool or spreadsheet, the public story on a website, and donations somewhere else, so one sighting lives in three disconnected places. ArtInStack does not replace tools like MegaDetector or Wildlife Insights. Once an observation is recorded on a photo, that same photo can sit in a survey and also appear in your public portfolio: an impact map, optional species info on photo pages, exports for partners, packages ready to publish to GBIF under your endorsed publisher, donation campaigns, and an events manager for field days. You decide what the public sees.

Import field photos once. Use EXIF location, or set it by hand when a site is sensitive.

What you get

Science records, public storytelling, and fundraising under one roof, with you deciding what goes public.

  • One photo, two uses. Keep it in a survey for the science and publish it in a portfolio for the public, with the two contexts kept separate.
  • Observation records built on GBIF-backed species data, with Camtrap DP export for partners.
  • Prepare packages and publish to GBIF under your endorsed publisher (Instant Connect or Delegated Access). DOI credit stays with your institution.
  • Public species info on a photo is opt-in and off by default. For species at elevated IUCN risk, organism IDs and notes stay off the public page.
  • Impact maps show donors where the work happens without giving away nest-site precision.
  • Donation and campaign pages on your own site, sharing checkout with the rest of your brand.
  • An events manager for field days. Rosters and check-in stay separate from survey detections.

Wondering how it works?

Good to know: surveys, privacy and fundraising

Does ArtInStack replace tools like MegaDetector or Wildlife Insights?

No. ArtInStack does not replace those classification tools. Once an observation is recorded on a photo, that same photo can sit in a survey for the science and appear in your public portfolio for the story, with the two kept separate.

How do I protect sensitive locations?

You can import location from EXIF or set it by hand, and set map privacy before anything goes public. Public species info on a photo is opt-in and off by default, and for species at elevated IUCN risk, organism IDs and notes stay off the public page. Impact maps show where work happens without nest-site precision.

Can I share data with partners and GBIF?

Yes. You can export Camtrap DP packages for partners and prepare packages to publish to GBIF under your endorsed publisher, using Instant Connect or Delegated Access. DOI credit stays with your institution.

Can I take donations?

Yes. Donation and campaign pages run on your own site and share checkout with the rest of your brand, right next to the story you are telling.

Can I organize field days and volunteers?

Yes. An events manager handles RSVPs, paid days, and volunteer signups, with rosters and check-in kept separate from survey detections.

Do I need a separate website for the public story?

No. You can curate a program portfolio and publish pages and posts on the same site, under your own brand and domain.
