Conservation fieldwork: surveys, Evidence, and Data Governance

Field surveys, Evidence of Impact, location governance, volunteer events, and GBIF Prepare/Publish now share one media spine for conservation programs on ArtInStack.

Camera-trap and field programs needed more than a pretty gallery. They needed structured surveys, donor-facing proof, honest maps, and a path to open data—without nest-site leaks. That feature is live on ArtInStack.

What shipped

  • Surveys, deployments, and observations — organize stations and walkovers, tag species with GBIF-backed suggest (IUCN status included), and filter the media library by survey, taxon, and conservation status.
  • Evidence of Impact — survey-sourced, time-ordered proof for donors and reviewers, with place chips and pins that follow your privacy rules.
  • Impact Map + geo privacy — exact, redacted, or hidden public pins at the portfolio level, with org defaults under Privacy & security.
  • Data Governance — automatic IUCN threat tiers, species overrides, and time-bound survey embargoes stacked above Geo privacy for Evidence, Impact Map, GBIF Prepare, and Camtrap export.
  • Camtrap DP export & GBIF Prepare/Publish — partner packages, interactive prep (license, stubs, fuzz vs withhold), Instant Connect or Delegated Access, plus IPT track for Path A.
  • Volunteer events — paid, free RSVP, or volunteer signup with dashboard invites and accept links on the same brand as the program story.
  • Donations & campaigns — donation products and campaign blocks beside Evidence and maps (campaign-attributed checkout you already use).

Why it matters

Science tools stop at the dataset. Fundraising tools never inherit the sighting. ArtInStack keeps Survey → Observation on the same media row that Portfolio, Evidence, and campaigns publish—so field programs can prove place safely, ask for support, and hand clean packages to partners without four disconnected systems.
