Community

Community Features for Photographers

Your work brings people together. Give them a place to take part, on your own site, under your own studio name.

Community

Visitors sign in with a one-time email code, right on your site. Their likes count, their comments carry their name, and they’re recognized the next time they visit.

Like
Members like with a verified email, so your count reflects real people rather than a button anyone can mash.

A place for your audience to take part.

Social platforms keep the reactions and the audience. Your site gets the visit and nothing else. Community puts likes, comments, and recognizable members on the site you own, so the response to your work builds up where you publish it.

Your site, your audience

Reactions land under your studio name, not a platform’s. What people say about your work stays with your work.

Likes that mean something

Members like with a verified email, so your count reflects real people rather than a button anyone can mash.

Comments with a name behind them

Members comment under a persistent identity. Conversations read like conversations.

Guests stay welcome

Visitors who just want to say something can still comment as a guest. You decide whether guests are allowed.

Sign in where the work lives

Visitors sign in from your site’s header or footer, or at the moment they like or comment. No separate app and no ArtInStack account.

Opt-in newsletter, never assumed

Joining can include an unticked checkbox to hear from you. Only people who tick it join your list.

Before a connected platform

  • Reactions scattered across Instagram, Facebook, and email replies
  • Anonymous comments with no way to tell who is returning
  • Likes you can’t trust, and an audience that belongs to someone else

After you turn on Community

  • Likes and comments gathered on the posts you publish
  • Recognizable members, with guest comments still open
  • An audience identity that lives on your site, under your studio

Member identity

One identity on your site

A visitor signs in once with their email. From then on they’re a recognizable member of your studio’s community: same name on their likes, same name on their comments.

  • Sign in with a one-time email code, with no password to forget
  • Identity belongs to your studio, not a global account
  • Signed in, they stay signed in on your site

Likes

Likes you can stand behind

A like from a verified member counts once. When an anonymous visitor taps the heart, they verify their email, and their like is applied the moment they’re in. No lost clicks, no inflated numbers.

  • One like per member per post
  • Sign-in happens at the click, so the like isn’t lost
  • Share stays open to everyone with no sign-in needed

Comments

Member or guest, their choice

When someone posts a comment, they choose how it appears: sign in as a member, or post as a guest with the name they’ve already typed. Your draft is kept either way. Members comment under the name they joined with. Guests keep the low-friction path.

  • Join or post as guest, with equal weight and one tap
  • Members can continue a comment right after signing in
  • Turn guests off and Community becomes members-only commenting

Site-native sign in

Sign in where the work lives

Sign in appears in your site’s header and footer, matched to what your studio offers: Community, client portal, or both. With both, visitors choose where they’re going. Signing out ends the community session only.

  • Header and footer Sign in that adapts to your setup
  • Community and client portal stay separate
  • No “reader account” and no extra app to explain

Studio controls

You decide how open it is

Turn Community on when you’re ready. Choose whether guests can still comment and whether a like requires a member. The defaults keep engagement easy, so switching on Community doesn’t slow anyone down.

  • Enable Community per studio, after you’ve added it
  • Allow guest comments, on by default
  • Require a member to like, on by default

Audience

Grow your list with permission

When someone joins, they can choose to hear from you. The checkbox starts unticked and is never implied. Opt-ins go onto your own subscriber list, not a shared one.

  • Unticked by default, always explicit
  • Opt-ins go to your list and no one else’s
  • Joining never signs anyone up on its own

Swipe sideways for more

Participation your audience can follow

Workflows take a visitor from reading to belonging. Clusters hold the depth.

Read and react

A visitor finishes a post and sees Like and Share under the article. Share works immediately for anyone.

Like once, verify once

Tapping the heart asks for an email. They enter the code, and the like registers. Next time, they’re already signed in.

Comment your way

Posting a comment offers a quick choice: join to comment as a member, or continue as a guest. Both are one tap.

Come back recognized

Members return to a site that remembers them, with likes and comments under the same name.

A visitor becomes a member of your studio.

Thanks for joining.

Only if they said yes.

Only people who said yes

The newsletter checkbox is unticked by default. Only people who tick it are added.

Your list, not ours

Opt-ins go to your own subscriber list, handled the way the rest of your email is.

Nothing changes if they don’t

Members who skip it still like, comment, and sign in as normal.

Continuity across the business

The difference isn't one feature. It's what happens when publishing, commerce, media, and delivery stop behaving like separate products or plugins.

Reactions scatter across social platforms

they gather on the work you publish

Likes you can’t trust

likes tied to verified members

Your audience lives on someone else’s platform
