Client proofs and NDA work should not live on the same public path as your marketing site. You can now create a Private portfolio at the start so uploads land in client-only storage, show a lock in the library, and stay out of public page embeds.
What shipped
- Public or Private at create — choose when you start a collection. Public stays on the site, embeds, and CDN path. Private is for portal delivery, downloads, and client-only masters.
- Lock visibility — Private media and Private portfolios show a lock so you can see what is client-only at a glance.
- Portal and downloads — invite clients in Portal Manager, grant gallery access, and fulfill digital products from Private collections without putting those files on the public CDN.
- Team projects and course lessons — project uploads and lesson media follow the private path by default so internal and student delivery stay off the public library path.
Why it matters
Your public site should stay fast and embeddable. Your client masters should stay invite-only. Private portfolios make that split explicit at create time—so delivery and marketing stop sharing the wrong storage story.
